Unbelievable! This Chubby Indonesian Girl Got Married to This Handsome Korean Guy Because Of Her Hater!
People like to judge others based on what they look. If you don’t fit society’s standard of beauty, then you’ll have to suffer getting insulted.
Most people love to pick on individuals who they deem as ugly, looking past their personality. A person who is too dark, or too skinny, or too fat receives a lot of criticism from the majority of people they meet who make it appear as if they don’t have the right to receive good things in their life because of their physical appearance.
An Indonesian woman became a victim of this kind of criticism when people started to make fun of the relationship she was currently in.
Vera Nanda Putri is a chubby woman but her body didn’t get in the way of finding the love of her life.
As it turns out, Vera became a huge fan of the Korean culture after watching the show ‘Running Man’.
Her interest with this show turned into an interest with the entire Korea. Eventually, she travelled to the country in 2015 in order to learn their language at Seoul National University.
In 2016, she met a graphic designer named Jun. Now, Jun looked like your typical Korean boy next door.
The two of them started developing feelings for each other and they eventually became lovers.
Despite being intimate with each other, Vera still couldn’t believe that they would last long together. Aside from the fact that they come from different countries with different cultures, the two of them were being ridiculed because of their appearance. People thought Vera was too fat for Jun and people often discouraged her relationship with him.
Still, despite the many negative comments they received from everyone, they managed to eventually tie the knot.
Jun decided to call Vera’s father to ask for her hand in marriage. Both Vera and Jun travelled to Jakarta for a formal meeting with her family as well as to properly propose to Vera.
The two of them married each other on February 28, 2017 with both a Korean and Indonesian ceremony.
See, love knows no barriers.
